Independent Advice
KWB chose to become a representative firm of Linsco/Private Ledger (LPL) because we think alike. LPL is built on the premise that, in an increasingly complicated era, achieving your financial goals depends upon solid, unbiased advice; meaningful, timely information, research and easy access to the investments and services that best fit your needs. They focus their efforts not on selling proprietary investment products, but instead on providing us with superlative service and state-of-the-art technology – tools that enhance our ability to work with almost everyone – from seasoned investors to those who are just beginning to think about saving for a better future.

Linsco/Private Ledger (LPL) is one of the largest independent financial advisor organizations in the nation. It was recently named the number one independent broker-dealer in the U.S. by Financial Planning Magazine for the tenth year in a row (based on revenues, as reported in Financial Planning Magazine, June 1996-2005). LPL has a network of thousands of independent representatives, some who offer financial services through state and federally chartered banks, thrifts and credit unions. LPL brokerage account assets are protected up to $100 million to give clients the maximum level of protection for their accounts. LPL’s SIPC membership provides account protection up to a maximum of $500,000, of which $100,000 may be in cash. For more information visit www.sipc.org. Through Lloyds of London, LPL accounts have additional securities coverage of $99.5 million per account, subject to a $500 million aggregate firm limit. The account protection applies when a SIPC firm fails financially and is unable to meet obligations to securities clients, but it does not protect against losses from the rise and fall in the market value of investments.

As LPL moves into their fourth decade, they remain committed to leading the independent brokerage business. They continue to set high expectations in every area of representative support in order to help you realize a new standard of financial security.
