It’s always best to investigate before you invest!
At KWB Wealth Managers Group we believe this is important
for you and for us. That’s why we offer potential
clients a complimentary initial consultation. During
the hour or so we spend with you, we attempt to learn
about your financial goals – and your commitment
to reaching them. We also use the time to educate you
about the KWB investment philosophy and the institutional
investment process we follow to help you reach your long-term
goals. Becoming acquainted in this way helps us determine
whether our services will meet your needs. In the end,
hiring an advisor is like hiring a coach. Ultimately,
it’s a partnership where you and your coach are
focused on achieving a mutually desired goal. Both you
and your coach must stick to your strategy and follow
through with your commitments in order to make success
easier to achieve.
If after your initial consultation you and your KWB Wealth Manager determine
that account minimums are met and an ongoing commitment is in both your
interests, you can then decide which payment schedule is best for you.
KWB offers both fee-based and commission-based arrangements. The fee-based
arrangement works best for larger accounts and comprehensive planning.
The commission-based arrangement is available in some circumstances where
comprehensive planning is not needed. Regardless of the payment schedule
you choose, your Wealth Manager will disclose fees and costs, and suggest
the most appropriate arrangement for engagement of services.
Under this arrangement an annual percentage fee is assessed based on
the value of your account. The percentage fee is charged proportionately
every three months based on the value of the account. This arrangement
ensures that all parties have a shared interest. The actual amount paid
rises and falls as a natural result of account fluctuations. Most clients
prefer this arrangement as it minimizes potential conflicts of interest.
Additionally, the firm does not receive income for making changes or
trading. Any portfolio changes are designed to enhance the portfolio
values based on the client’s stated objective. This arrangement
generally provides totally liquidity. It costs nothing to invest and
nothing to liquidate (small transaction fees for purchasing and redeeming
may apply, not as a commission, but as a confirm fee). The annual percentage
fee varies on account size, investment objective and the comprehensive
nature of the account.
Under this arrangement a fee or commission is charged for the purchase
of each investment. Depending on the investment type and attributes,
an up-front fee may be levied on the original purchase or a rear-end
charge may apply if liquidation occurs within a pre-determined time-frame.
Investments carry many forms of compensation. KWB Wealth Managers will
disclose the cost and fees involved in any transactions.
