The
world is getting smaller. World events affect and influence
domestic and international markets more quickly and more
profoundly than ever. KWB monitors economic data and
policy and reviews periodicals, newsletters and other
institutional allocation models to formulate a balanced
approach to “big picture” investing. Asset
categories and investment vehicles are then scrutinized
and reviewed to optimize individual portfolios in each
asset category – “little picture” investing.
After
the KWB Wealth management team assesses the data,
they collectively make asset allocation weighting
decisions in various portfolios. Investment vehicles
in all asset categories are reviewed and monitored
and changes are mutually agreed upon. This collaborative
effort helps ensure that reason, discipline and
a well thought out process drive all asset allocation
decisions and/or changes.
High-tech,
high-touch, up-to-date technological systems enable
us to gather information quickly, which in turn
allows us to devote more time to the essential
activities of assessment and collaboration. For
instance, agreed upon actions, such as position
reductions or sells, can be executed in either
a block or individual manner. By increasing efficiency
and accuracy, our systems (high-tech) allow our
Wealth Managers to spend more time with clients
(high-touch) on personalized investment and estate
planning solutions.
Whether
we are caring for our automobiles, our gardens
or our portfolios, maintenance is essential for
proper upkeep. Our Wealth Managers practice proactive
internal monitoring to help ensure proper asset
allocation and investment vehicle selection.
Frequent
monitoring allows our Wealth Managers to make small
or large adjustments based on the investor’s
tolerance for risk and volatility, time-frame and
any unique liquidity requirements a client may
have.
